The Challenge

Deliver it sought to modernise and automate its operations by overhauling its tech stack, creating a modular system capable of seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology, both now and in the future. The team researched solutions that could smoothly integrate with their newly adopted cloud system and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), all while aligning with the contemporary IT landscape.

The company was determined to implement solutions that were easy to integrate and contributed substantially to achieving the high level of automation they aimed for, ensuring their technology investments would truly future-proof their IT systems. They found a match in Bettermile.

"Bettermile's automatic data validation eliminates the need to manually check addresses, delivering more precision for our drivers. It also offers invaluable transparency by indicating the quantity of unvalidated addresses and ungeocoded jobs, ensuring a more streamlined workflow."

Alexander Eichler, IT Project Manager at Deliver it

The Solution

Partnering with Bettermile offered Deliver it the perfect solution in its quest for modernization and efficiency. Thanks to Bettermile, Deliver it was able to eliminate most of their manual work connected to cleaning addresses. This provides accurate locations for delivery drivers to navigate to. With the previous geocoding solution an employee still had to validate the data in case of any errors.

Oliver Hoffmann, Deliver it’s Procurement Officer, called Bettermile “the most innovative solution on the market.” He went on to emphasize the adaptability of Bettermile's solution: "You can throw just about any address in there, and something good comes out."

The Implementation

The implementation process was remarkably straightforward and efficient. Within a matter of hours from receiving the API key, Deliver it successfully implemented and tested Bettermile's solution. Bettermile's modular approach resonated with Deliver it's overarching strategy of constructing a modular IT system and fitted well in its business logic.

Increased Scalability and Efficiency

Deliver it's collaboration with Bettermile has not only modernised their operations but has also set the stage for future growth and innovation in urban logistics. Their commitment to automation underscores their dedication to excellence in serving their clients in an increasingly digital world.

Better Places

Take your last-mile delivery performance to the next level thanks to high-quality address data and advanced geocoding with the Places API.

Say hello to clean, high-quality address data.

Delivery addresses can contain all sorts of errors: illegible special characters, missing house numbers, incorrect postal codes. Drivers spend precious time searching for the right street name or number – and returns to sender increase costs.

But now there’s help: Better Places helps you conquer address chaos. It cleans, normalizes, verifies and validates addresses. Based on that data, our unique address processing and geocoding API delivers high-quality coordinates, so even new drivers find destinations the first time around.
